My duties were to help the restaurant's servers tend to our guest's needs at all times. I was mostly in charge of guest's secondary needs, such as refilling beverages, relegating any orders or changes to designated servers and to kitchen staff, as well as serving guests from a selection of fresh bread. My most important duty was to clear tables and to set up tables for consequent parties and guests. I was also in charge of preparing espresso and fresh tea drinks.
I was moved up to food running and expediting which required a more comprehensive acquaintance with our menu and food preparation, as well as the ability to organize with the kitchen staff and servers all incoming orders so as to have a smooth and quick transition through our guest's courses.
