Frances Sweitzer attended Palm Beach Junior College and Florida Community College before earning her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of North Florida in 1993, with an emphasis on painting. Her work is most often related to animals and the human figure. While earning her degree, Frances Sweitzer earned numerous awards, including the distinction of Best in Show at the 1993 St. Augustine College Show. She has also completed additional training at Ursuline College in Chatham, Ontario, Canada. A strong background in art and the use of color prepared Frances Sweitzer well for her career in high-end cosmetics. She began her career with Bobbi Brown, one of the cosmetic lines within the family of Estee Lauder companies. As an Account Executive, she worked in both the retail and wholesale areas of the company's operations. In 1997, Ms. Sweitzer notably earned the distinction of Account Coordinator of the Year in South Florida.After a brief tenure in retail cosmetics for Saks Fifth Avenue, Frances Sweitzer became Regional Sales Manager for L’Oreal, with special emphasis on the firm’s Kiehl’s line. In this role, she handled Kiehl’s retail and wholesale accounts for the southeastern United States.Frances Sweitzer’s passions outside her professional life are also related to art. She continues to enjoy painting and drawing, as well as related activities such as visiting art galleries and reading books on art history. Her hobbies also include home design and home decorating. Additionally, she supports St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital and the Humane Society.
