I was initially a temporary worker through Search Consultancy at DWF; I was offered a full time position beginning January 2016.

My duties as File Management Support currently include:

- Opening or closing case files using Visual Files, Compliguard and the Document Management System for electronic filing
- Filing print-outs of correspondence, records and other information for fee earners, also fling electronically
- Prioritising urgent tasks and upcoming court deadlines
- Sorting incoming and outgoing post
- General printing, photocopying, scanning
- Proficiency using Office program suite for a variety of tasks along with Outlook
- Preparing lever arch court bundles for court, solicitors and Counsel
- Using Excel spreadsheets to track various statistics on matters and archiving
- Booking meeting rooms and dealing with other expenses
- Checking account balances on live matters
- Working as part of a team to archive files for all departments using Iron Mountain Connect
- Generating letters and other correspondence to clients, defendants and claimants
- Faxing and emailing correspondence and pleadings
- Calling other parties for information, taking messages when solicitors are away

I have experience working with the Insurance Fraud team as well as the Commercial Litigation team, incorporating Employment, Regulatory and Family law.

Chief Invigilator 

Search Consultancy  - Abraham Moss Community School

After previous experience as Chief Invigilator for this large high school I was invited to return to my temporary role through Search. 

Responsibilities:

- Coordinate a team of 4-5 invigilators to supervise up to 100 students in the Theatre
- Assist the exam office staff with larger exams of 250 student s in the Sports Hall
- Know and practice under JCQ Examination Conditions when setting up and using the exam hall or room
- Lead setup and delegate tasks such as register, absentees, finding school staff
- Keep an accurate register and ensure clocks are set correctly
- Read out erratum notices from an awarding body
- Confiscating banned items and informing school's Senior Leadership Team of any breaches
- Invigilating exams for 1-5 students in the Inclusion Centre, for SEN and pupils with behavioural problems. Working alongside scribes and practical assistants to deliver exam
- Ensure all students entitled to access arrangements are catered for appropriately
- Work out start and finish times where several exams are being sat in one room or hall

Administrator / Customer Service Adviser

AQA

 I had two separate contracts for the above jobs with AQA leading up to 2015 GCSE and A Level results days. The first was internal administration processing incoming exam papers to be graded, and the latter was a contact centre role.

Administrator tasks included:

- Opening and sorting incoming post 
- Sorting each exam component in numerical order as part of a team and individually as required
- Extreme attention to detail to ensure that errors in sorting are corrected immediately
- Checking examiner marked scripts for clerical or other errors and flagging irregularities or omissions
- Locating papers in a physical archive, interfiling

Customer Service tasks included:

- Taking inbound calls from schools/colleges/private customers
- Checking internal databases for information requested, providing updates from other departments
- Transferring calls or providing step-by-step guidance to find answers on the company website
- Using Microsoft Dynamics to log and resolve all received calls
- Emailing internal departments for assistance with complex cases
- Adhering to strict security protocols regarding private information
- Strict timekeeping to cut down queue times for callers
- Providing friendly customer service in a busy time of year
- Advising callers on their options for clerical and marking services or making applications for past records

Front Desk Receptionist

Salford Innovation Forum - Manchester Science Parks

Holiday and sickness cover for 2 receptionists in a serviced office building with a range of visitors from private business to NHS and Salford Council.

Tasks:
- Greeting clients, visitors and taking in deliveries
- Operating computerised switchboard and car park security barrier; monitoring CCTV
- Communicating client feedback to contractors, cleaners and technicians
- Using a franking machine to post clients' outgoing post

Chief Invigilator

Search Consultancy - Abraham Moss Community School

This was my first Chief Invigilator role after invigilating at Abraham Moss in May 2014. I was expected to take on the wider responsibilities listed above upon appointment, and I became part of the secure delivery of sealed papers to the exam hall. This involves working closely with subject teachers and support staff as well as being responsible for the outcome of any surprise inspections by JCQ. I reported to the exams office and the head of Year 11.

Working in teams of 5-10 invigilators splitting tasks. Registering each student in the correct seat, handing out equipment, confiscating items where appropriate and as directed. Some experience with SEN students and access arrangements in Inclusion Centre.
