File Management Support - Admin/ Secretarial

I was initially a temporary worker through Search Consultancy at DWF; I was offered a full time position beginning January 2016.
My duties as File Management Support currently include:
- Opening or closing case files using Visual Files, Compliguard and the Document Management System for electronic filing
- Filing print-outs of correspondence, records and other information for fee earners, also fling electronically
- Prioritising urgent tasks and upcoming court deadlines
- Sorting incoming and outgoing post
- General printing, photocopying, scanning
- Proficiency using Office program suite for a variety of tasks along with Outlook
- Preparing lever arch court bundles for court, solicitors and Counsel
- Using Excel spreadsheets to track various statistics on matters and archiving
- Booking meeting rooms and dealing with other expenses
- Checking account balances on live matters
- Working as part of a team to archive files for all departments using Iron Mountain Connect
- Generating letters and other correspondence to clients, defendants and claimants
- Faxing and emailing correspondence and pleadings
- Calling other parties for information, taking messages when solicitors are away
I have experience working with the Insurance Fraud team as well as the Commercial Litigation team, incorporating Employment, Regulatory and Family law.
