(30% - 60% programming) I managed a cross-functional software development team that increased the effectiveness of the Product Development organization. We optimized the coding and maintenance capabilities by revising the programming toolset. We migrated the organization from home-grown and ineffective tools to industry standard tools (including Subversion, Eclipse, and Jenkins) that improved programmer quality and quantity. We reduced wasted time on unneeded software requirements by only working on the most important user stories. We increased frequency of development output and customer feedback by switching to agile. I had my team adopt agile and scrum as a replacement to waterfall. We found it increased the accuracy of estimates. I evangelized the methodology through meetings, internal blogs, email lists and reports leading to the conversion of 300 developers from waterfall to Agile methodology.As the product owner, I collaborated with stakeholders throughout the company to communicate and insure progress towards needs of our internal customers, the software development staff. I verified goal achievement via demos to stakeholders. I facilitated backlog grooming meetings with stakeholders.
