Design Thesis – Designing an ‘Inclusive’ Public Realm: Case Mumbai

Thesis Guide – Prof. PVK Rameshwar (HOD and faculty, Urban Design, CEPT University, Ahmedabad)

The thesis questioned the current development processes and policies within the cities leading to social fragmentation and social exclusion. The site chosen was Government Colony and Bharat Nagar area near Bandra Kurla Complex.

Project Proposal – Designing an ‘inclusive’ redevelopment model of Government Colony and Bharat Nagar to have an ‘inclusive’ public realm – accessible to all.
