At Pep Boys I create and execute product displays to promote products and keep them well organized. I also analyze customer’s product need in order for them to be well prepared for the work ahead and helping to build good customer relations. A big part of my duties is to inform customer of sales and other items needed (add-on sales) to help them get the job done right the first time. I also cashier, answer phones, and stock. We promote great customer service to get the job done right the first time.

I was also named employee of the month for January 2011!

While at Bennett's I designed in-store product advertisements to increase product awareness. This was done nearly every two to three months. I also diagnosed customer’s plant problems in order to help solve their plant ailments. I would suggest productsto help customers achieve desired results, whether it was to cure a plant problem or promote healthier and more lush growing conditions. I also was a cashier and answered phones. My number one priority was great customer service.

My job was to ensure that customer’s information is correctly entered so policies are written properly and to review policies and services to guarantee adequate coverage and protection.

I tried to create a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere to ensure customer retention and satisfaction remained high. I also called customers in order to set appointment to update policies and insure customer satisfaction.

Persistance is key. I strive to complete things to the best of my ability even if they are difficult I am persistent to finish them and do it well. Never giving up and never settling is how I define persistent.
Using creativity is one of my favorite things to do. I use it in creating advertising ideas, creating public relations solutions, when creating drawing, and much more. Creativity is in the drawings you produce, but I think it is also in the ideas you come up with. My creativity can be technical or imaginative, there is no limits to creatvity if you ask me.
Customer Service
Customer service=customer retention. I have been providing great customer for at least  the last 5 years. I work hard to be positive and persistent to make sure that customers leave the establishment happier and more satisfied than when they entered.

Who I am

I am a senior graduating from Purdue University in May. I am really excited to be entering the job market. I know it is not going to be easy but I am ready for the challenge.

I consider myself an enthusiastic and hardworking person. I like to say that I am the employee I would want to hire. By that I mean, if I were hiring for a position I would look for someone who will be in on time, complete their task to the best that they can, and always be looking to learn something new. That is what I strive for in my professional life. 

I also consider myself to be very creative. My favorite hobby is drawing and while college life has not allowed me much time for that, I have big plans after graduation. I would love to be able to incorporate my creativity into my everyday life.
