June - During my first month, I shadowed reporters while they were covering their stories for the 10 p.m. news. I learned how the reporters conducted interviews, worked with representatives of corporations and the government, wrote their stories and shot their on-the-spot reports.

July - During my second month, I was the assistant to the director of the communications department. I helped respond to viewer e-mail, made copies and helped promote the station at live events.
