I am currently pursuing a position as an Architect, Project Manager, Facilities Planner, or a Construction Administrator for Higher Education, Government, Military, MIxed-Use, Retail, Multi-Family Housing, or other commercial and residential projects including new construction, renovations, and additions for a progressive green design firm. I am always looking for partnering opportunities to create new green buildings. Facility Planner - Contract Position

University of Colorado at Boulder, Department of Facilites Management

Worked as a Facility Planner as a temporary contract position on the prepartion of the Feasibility Study for the University Club at CU and the Feasibility Study for the Folsom Field Stadium Printing Services Facility Relocation.  In addition, I worked on various options for  the infill of Flemming Hall after the new Visual Arts Complex is occupied in January of 2010 and the current tenants of Flemming move out of the building.

Project Manager for a wide variety of public and private sector projects including the CU Visual Arts Complex, Stapleton South Fire Station No. 26, Gold Hill Mesa Community Center, Gateway Station mixed-use development in Golden, CO, renovaton of Boulder Nissan, renovation of Gebhardt BMW, renovation of Broadmoor Laundry, renovation and addition to Celestial Seasonings. In addition to managing projects I served on the following committees: CU Shadow Student Program: Founder and facilitator of this group that offerred opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students to attend and run workshops related to the Architectural profession, tour construction sites for lessons learned tours, and assisted students through design critiques and portfollio reviews. Quality Control/Quality Assurance Committee: Founder and chairman ot the committee to oversee QA reviews of projects, train QA reviewers, conduct workshops with the staff on constructability and code issues, create the forms and procedures utilized firm wide to establish quality control procedures on projects. Detail Committee Chairman: As chariman, I held weekly meetings with the Detail Committee to review potential common details to be included in the web based detail library the firm had created on Share Point. OZ Mentorship Program Coordinator: Founder and coordinator of the OZ Mentorship Program that teamed senior staff members with junior staff members for 6 month assignments to allow mentors to assist mentees in whatever skill sets they needed mentorship in and act as an advocate for the mentee office wide to assist that person in the advancement of their career.
