I was privately sponsored by a company to attend this 1 year program called Leadership School of Ft. Lauderdale held by The Greater Ft. Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce in 1999.

The whole incentive was to select 20 individuals on a yearly basis that has  shown great leadership skills at their workplace or with the Chamber of Commerce.

The program groomed us students to obtain a greater understanding about leadership within the community, for example in regards to the school system, transportation, politics, history of the city, architecture and so on. We were also polished in providing excellent customer service skills and problem solving.  I really enjoyed this leadership school.
