Class of 2009 Senior Spring Coordinator

Office of the Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs, UC San Diego

  • Inspired and marketed the inaugural Senior Spring celebration to graduating seniors which resulted in new all-campus programming and a greater sense of class unity
  • Designed all promotions and organized viral media through Facebook and Twitter pages
  • Created and moderated a user-friendly and attractive website,
  • Worked with a design team to create a brand, logo and marketing toolkit which were easily recognizable on campus

Alpha Chi Omega Women's Fraternity, UC San Diego Chapter

  • Trained and managed ten executive board officers according to Chapter and National Bylaws
  • Led weekly, interactive meetings for 100 members, with a variety of guest speakers, educational programs and games, resulting in over 90% average weekly attendance
  • Oversaw the $35,000 chapter budget with online officer budgets and member payment schedules
  • Maintained chapter listserve and calendar by utilizing Google applications, leading to greater communication and event attendance
  • Awarded the title of UCSD Panhellenic Chapter of the Year for 2008

  • Second in line to the President, served in case of her absence
  • Supervised the hiring, training and management of the twelve-member Board of Directors
  • Met weekly with the Board of Directors, who were responsible for programming the UCSD Greek system’s major events including the EXCEL Leadership Conference, Greek Week, Greek Awards and the New Member Education Program
  • Designed, edited and contributed to Greek Columns, a newsletter for the 2,000 members and 20 chapters in the UCSD Greek Community

  • Served as a liason between the student government and Intercollegiate Athletics Department
  • Revitalized campus spirit group, Triton Tide, to promote and market athletic teams and events
  • Coordinated and publicized student fee referendum to support athletic department; election had the highest voter turnout in campus history and provided an additional $4 million yearly
