Headed the consolidation of all six subsidiary treasuries into GMD’s corporate Treasury, establishing control standards and improving cash management.Implemented ERP software (SAP) in the Treasury to reduce accounting processes that have a direct impact on the company’s management of construction deadlines and, as a result, on the corporation’s operating performance.Developed an integral financial model that includes cash flows, payment and account log to provide the CFO with reliable information, therefore having a strong influence on senior management’s decision-making process.As a result of the financial crisis in October 2008, I prepared an emergency cash flow that would take the corporation safely through the fourth quarter until December, when a MXP$60 million loan was secured under very favorable terms.

Directed the Spin-off project for GMD Resorts by engaging with our legal and financial advisors in the preparation of the company prospectus, as well as other financial and legal documentation. After the Spin-off, GMD Resorts was then able to raise over MXP$60 million.

Created the Investor Relations department for both GMD and GMD Resorts, establishing new relationships with financial analysts and providing them with timely and accurate corporate information. Furthermore, internal control systems were set up to improve the reliability of the information provided. As a result, the number of analysts following GMD and GMDR stocks doubled in less than a year.

Coordinated with the CEO the launch of the corporation’s new external communication strategy, which included the creation of the annual and quarterly reports for GMD Resorts and GMD, as well as the development of their corresponding corporate websites, resulting in an increase in site visits of more than 25%.

Lead the launch of the first Investor Relations website for GMD Resorts and GMD, establishing closer communication with investors, analysts and the financial community. Accordingly, the daily trade volume of GMD shares increased from 6,000 in 2006, to over 25,000 in 2007.

Created the corporation’s Code of Ethics and GMD’s Insider Trading Policy, ensuring business transparency as well as complying with Corporate Best Practices.

Worked with the firm’s partner on a proposal for joint venture equity investment valued at $150 million for a mixed-use development in Jersey City which resulted in the purchase of the property by investors based on our recommendations. Developed an affordability study for households in Jersey City and the Gold Coast market areas to provide additional information distributed to equity investors and potential construction partners. Prepared valuation materials for a $40 million portfolio of properties in the Washington, D.C. area for distribution among key investor groups. Author of the 2004 Mexico Industrial Property Market Report and the 2004 Mexico Residential Property Market Report, supplying WSRC clients with essential information on international projects and market trends.

Developed and coordinated engineering solutions for assembly processes in four plants located in Ohio, Georgia, Missouri, and Mexico.Part of a select group of engineers that collaborated in the design and engineering of structural components for two new vehicle platforms.Designed new sealant applications to five regular production vehicle platforms, resulting in reductions of assembly time as well as lower rework costs.Represented a team of over 70 engineers in the negotiation and execution of design changes to all vehicle assembly plants located in Mexico at the Domestic Vehicle Change Approval Board, meeting the annual goal of reducing by 15% the time to implement engineering changes.
