Account Executive / Global Business Development Research and develop database of potential customers within an organization. Make regular sales/cold calls to develop relationships and follow up on leads while maintaining an understanding of industry trends and technical developments that affect target verticals and/or specific customers. Develop and deliver sales presentations to all levels of an organization, including C level. Effectively communicate NeuStar’s DNS core value propositions and premier services, i.e.; internal and external DNS, basic and advanced directional DNS, weighted load balancing and GEOIP, Site backer/IP disaster recovery, URL and E-Mail forwarding, MX backer and Vanity Name servers. Identify and qualify long-term and short-term business opportunities within given accounts. Understand the client’s business needs and communicate NeuStar’s value points to meet those needs. Facilitate executive-level relationships between the customer and NeuStar to ensure sales opportunities for all relevant services are presented and continually build and enhance those relationships. (Require domains, resource records and auth. queries). Excellent negotiation and closing skills in finalizing contracts. Work closely with sales support staff to establish an open internal communication path to maximize sales potential. Participate in sales forecasting and plan in an efficient manner utilizing the Salesforce system. Research, develop and maintain long and short-range sales, as well as marketing plans. Ensure system is utilized appropriately and maintained on a daily basis.
