I have been to various protests against mass tuna fishing, fracking and coal mining showing my endless support for the Greenpeace movement. I have also taken part in NVDA (non-violent direct action) training with Greenpeace so I am qualified to go out on protests and campaigns.

Lab work
I have worked in laboratories during my time at university undertaking a variety of experiments to aid my understanding of the subject. This has included teamwork, dedication and has tested my ability to work without mistake.
During the completion of my Gold Duke of Edinburgh award, I led a group of fellow students on various legs of our expedition. This included navigation and planning. I also volunteered at a disabled riding school, leading lessons and teaching young people with disabilities to ride.
I feel that my passion for the environment will motivate me in a job working with Greenpeace. I  am currently part of the Greenpeace Merseyside group and am particularly concerned with campaigns such as 'end whaling' and 'save the arctic.' I feel my dedication to the charity will fuel my work.

  • I am a member of the windsurfing team and enjoy regularly practicing as well as socialising with fellow team members.
  • I have had a native Fell Pony for 7 years and compete at county level, winning classes at the Great Yorkshire Show Ground and competing in the National Dressage Finals. I enjoy working with animals and would class this as my main hobby and passion.
  • I have an extensive classical book collection and love authors such as Salinger and Hemmingway.
