Responsible for the purchase, sale and trading of approximately 60 million/year physical barrels of gasoline, distillates, diluent naphtha and residuals covering the Colombian supply and trading needs for ECOPETROL.

Creation of the Commercial Plan for the new Cartagena Refinery (165 KBD), revising the previous strategies as suggested by international consultants and proposing different approaches based on our trading experience and view of each product market. The Commercial Plan has been approved by top management and being implemented.

Supervise trading operations, manage crisis and coordinate with planning, production, and terminals the handling of the logistics constrains.

Being consistently evaluated among the top 10% best performers every year.
