Identify and share research, recommendations, or other information regarding legal liabilities, risk management, or quality of care for medical and administrative staff.
Calculate patient payment information, accepts funds, and credits accounts accordingly.
Deliver exceptional world-class customer service while greeting patients, following Conifer Standards of Care, completing patient registration at date of service and consenting for treatment.
Exercise quality standards at all times by adhering to financial and cash control policies and procedures, explaining and securing hospital and patient legal forms, including Advance Directives, Conditions of Services, and EMTALA.
Responsible for a wide-variety of financial and medical documentation duties including, securing medical necessity checks and verification in accordance to Centers for Medicare and Medicaid services, verifying, insurance, benefits coverage and eligibility.
Complete assigned registration financial clearance, work lists activities, obtaining insurance authorizations for scheduled and unscheduled hospital services, and securing inpatient visit notifications.
