I am always up for a challange and believe that only your best is good enough. I feel I have a creative/ artistic mind that can come in handy when new ideas and conceipts have to be thought of.

I have also been a part taker of the last 2 Tourism INDABA's in Durban, where I did marketing for a number of guesthouses, B&B's and Activities. 

People are very imporant to me and I will always strive to be a sorce of positive influance. I am a kind person but I stick to the rules and kan also take charge. 

Learning is power so I never feel like I know it all, always willing to learn new things.

I am motivated and friendly and willing to work hard.

I started working there in November last year as Junior Receptionest but after only 3 months the owner saw my pottential for something more and I was promoted to head of the Housekeeping department.

My duties include all stock takes, admin, stock control and buying of stock.

Im also in charge of the cleaning personel and houseman, I have to set out their duties, as well as sort out any disputes in the department, I also work closely with the receiption and food and beverage departments at the hotel and have stood in for both those departments. Im very driven and love new challenges, I learn new and better ways to do my job every day.

I was appointed to do marketing as well as help with admin, receiption and bookings. Another part of the marketing is brochure and stationary design.

I also Mannaged the backpackers owned by the owner of African Manor where I do bookings, as well as help with the cleaning if we are low on cleaning staff. Appart from this I work with the UIF, Employee Contracts and Payslips. I also accompany the owner to all Tourism board events.

I have a working knowledge of Photoshop and Coral Draw which I use dayly. I also work with other photo editing software. I have succesfully designed advertisments for companies in the tourism industry as well as brochure's, leaflets, business cards, logo's and email stationary.

Communication

Have always had the ability to speak to any one no matter age or greed, I believe it is important in today's world to be able to talk to any one from age 1 to 100, you can always learn from all people.

I freelance and also do edits on photos, Some of my photo's have been used in the Your Travel Companion Guide.
