Onslow Sun Chalets and Motels
Jun 2010 - Mar 2011

Assistant Manager

Oceanview Caravan Pk

My duties included escorting new arrivals to their caravan bays or cabins, helping Peter (the owner) with the daily rubbish run, cleaning of the ablution blocks and general maintenance.

Over the months was often asked for fishing advice and as I have been fishing all my life was confident in passing on information. I made certain on arriving in Onslow to find out as many good fishing spots as possible, so was also able to pass this information on.

From September 2010 to March 2011, my wife and I became solely responsible for all the cleaning and maintenance throughout the park as the owners went south for 4 months.

I have over 30 years experience with maintenance work, having worked on farms for many years and then 17 years ago began working for myself specialising in reticulation 10 years ago I began working in the commercial side of irrigation.

T/as John Anderson

Self employed

In 1995 I decided to set up my own business in the reticulation industry.  My love of all things green was an instigator.  Throughout those years, I also performed thousands of various maintenance work as clients always asked if I could also do 'such and such' and 90% of the time I could.

In the year 2000 I had the opportunity to work for a commercial irrigation company and so spent the next ten years working on projects like olive farms, vineyards, schools, streetscapes and new housing estates.  I also continued on a lesser scale with reticulation and maintenance.

I can operate forklifts, escavators, bobcats and all other types of farming equipment.

1993 - 1995

Gnangara Smash Repairs

After leaving the farming life, I commenced work in the panel beating industry.  I learned all aspects of the industry and became very adept at  spray painting, mig welding and general panel beating.

My love of outdoors led me to my decision to start my own business.
