Created all marketing and sales initiatives for a start-up company in a hot and growing new sector –“Organics”.  Developed and drove business growth through a thorough analysis of market sectors and planned strategies to place our new unique product line.  Managed  merchandising product development from concept to finished products and formulated pricing structures.   Implemented these strategies to penetrate the US lawn and garden retail and wholesale markets.  Worked with the top US lawn and garden distributors.  Also worked to move our products into additional markets such as Nursery and Landscape, Organic Farms, Municipal and Academic Grounds, Sports Turf, and Green Roofs.  Managed on-line marketing, wrote press releases and articles for the web and trade publications, and produced supporting sales materials which communicated the value proposition and competitive differentiators.   Managed and participated in tradeshows, association meetings, sponsorships and conferences.  Maximized exposure for our company digitally through web business portals, social media, and blogs relevant to each market sector.

Implemented Marketing and Sales Strategy for various corporate clients.  Responsibilities included market research, marketing plans, new business development, on-line marketing, managing media placement, and promotions.  Managed sponsorships, event planning, licensing, trademark registration, sales, distribution, contracts administration, database management, and sales forecasting.  Experienced in producing materials for print, broadcast and online media.  Produced collateral materials and developed content for websites. Managed numerous hospitality events for clients and represented companies at national conventions, conferences and tradeshows.

She worked to get the film placed on Public Television stations and captured over 85% of the United States with this endeavor.

Responsible for the marketing and sales of the Turner Library to the broadcast television and specialty cable arenas, with an emphasis on syndication.  Annual multi-million dollar producer in sales.

Assembled a department and developed long-term strategic marketing plans to implement Turner’s sales strategy.  Interacted with top level executive management on a day-to-day basis.  Interfaced with Accounting, Legal, Contracts and Advertising Departments.  Created new sales initiatives and established additional revenue streams by setting up distribution channels for television stations. 

Properties represented: CNN Headline News, over 5000 films in the MGM, RKO & Warner Film Libraries, National Geographic, Audubon and Cousteau Specials. Sold to Affiliates, PBS, APT, Discovery and Learning Channels and The Golf Channel.
