Currently I manage a concession in the flagship Bullring Birmingham Topshop.

Main responsibilities: top level customer service, overseeing deliveries, stock replenishment, visual merchandising, stockroom maintenance, and daily feedback to head office.

I have quickly gained solid retail experience, and I have furthered my creative and customer service abilities in high pressure environments. I deal with customers, team leaders, managers, head office colleagues and senior store visitors.

This internship spanned 3 months, working alongside head designer Jasper Garvida across all aspects of the launch of a runway collection in central London. I dealt with designers, top bloggers, business partners, potential collaborators and colleagues.

Main responsibilities: copywriting, control of all social media platforms, creating marketing/social media strategy, liaising with PR agency, building contact books, events organising, and attending trade fairs.

My job throughout university was in hospitality - bartending and waitressing in a busy restaurant/nightclub. I dealt with lots of customers in a sociable environment.

As part of a freelance team I presented a PR & Marketing strategy to the head of PR at Porsche Cars GB in the Reading head office, demonstrating how we would market the Porsche Boxster more appropriately for females. I volunteered at prestigious London Fashion Week catwalk shows. I dealt with fashion designers, models, celebrities, bloggers and writers.

I worked in a call centre for a home improvements company. I dealt at a fast pace with customers, colleagues and managers.

I qualified as a Level 1 swimming teacher, taking classes of non-swimmers aged 5 to 7 on two different levels, following the National Teaching Plan. I experienced working with children in a safety-first environment.

My degree was centred around journalism and essay writing from a fashion angle. It covered units in PR, Visual Merchandising, Buying & Trend Forecasting, Fashion Styling, Photography, Magazine Design, Fashion History, Journalism Law and Brand Development. I gained a 2:1 in my final year Dissertation module, and a 2:1 as my final graduation grade.
