I was responsible for the direct supervision of all leasing, maintenance, and grounds employees. My job duties also included procurement and supervision of all routine contract services including, but not limited to, painters, housekeepers, carpet and tile vendors, and lawn care services. Collections of all rent and miscellaneous income for current and previous resident accounts, as well as resident retention as related to maintenance service requests, lease renewal offers and communication with all residents with regards to complaints or suggestions were within my daily duties. Data entry, of all leasing activity and posting of monies into the on site property accounting software, weekly and monthly reporting to home office of all marketing and leasing activities as well as all accounting activities were my responsibility. I also did the purchasing and adherence to the property budget, coding and reconciling of all vendor invoices for payment by the accounts payable department, and assisted in preparing the annual property operating budget.
