Mission: My mission is to provide safer communities through professional, ethical acts. To build trusting, lasting relationships with the public to maintain a safer environment for everyone.

Vision: To strive towards a future in which the community and public service agency actively works together to better not only themselves, but also each other.

Short term goals

  • Pursue my Bachelor of Applied Arts in Justice Studies

  • Find a career in which I am comfortable in and able to succeed
  • Adequately repay my parents for all the support they have provided for me
  • Continue to travel the world and see what new experiences it has to offer me

Skills

Critical Thinking

Through work experience I have gained the insight to look at problems in more than one way. This has helped developed my problem solving skills as well. I pride myself on being able to solve difficult problems that others may not be able to solve.

Calm Demeanor 

I have always had the ability to stay calm and collected in busy, or stressful situations. This skill has helped me countless times in sports and in the workplace. I pride myself on this skill.

Listening 

In my time spent working in customer service, I have learned that listening is an essential skill to posses. I always try to give the speaker my undivided attention, not only as a sign of respect, but in order to ensure I understand everything that is being told to me.

Teamwork

Through my time playing on sports teams, I have learned how to be a contributing member to the team, and to change my role to benefit the team as a whole.

Leadership

Through work experience and my time spent playing sports, I have gained the ability to effectively encourage, assist, and lead my teammates and co-workers.
