Evan Ostapiuk, an Accounting and Finance Intern at Best Doctors, Inc., graduated from Bentley University in Waltham, Massachusetts, with a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Finance. As a student at the institute, he maintained a 3.21 GPA and earned a place on the dean’s list, minoring in Law. Prior to attending Bentley, Evan Ostapiuk graduated from Farmington High School in Connecticut, where he participated in sports such as varsity football and crew and wrote an essay that was included in a nationally published book.
As a high school student, Evan Ostapiuk started Evan and Will’s Lawn Service, a landscaping provider. As co-founder of the business, he developed advertising campaigns, scheduled service deliveries, and accumulated a list of clients. In addition to maintaining his school workload and managing the lawn service, Mr. Ostapiuk completed a mission trip to Puerto Rico in 2004 and another to Florida in 2005 to assist with hurricane relief efforts.
While studying at Bentley University, Evan Ostapiuk spent his summers as a Project Leader for Housing Management, LLC, where he assisted with scheduling to ensure prompt completion of planned projects. He also applied his leadership skills as an intern at EMC Corporation, an information technology company. Assisting with various finance-related tasks, Evan Ostapiuk assessed monetary value and facilitated the approval of purchase requisitions. He also created a database for storing financial reports and assisted program managers with various budgeting activities.
