Develop a photographic project and receive guidance from a working photographer. The goal of this course is research and structure a picture story, recognise the importance of composition and technique, produce a set of pictures with a coherent theme or topic, pitch a story and market the work, demonstrate an understanding of ethics, recognise the importance of editing and demonstrate an ability to be more objective and critical of my own work.

Documentary and Photojournalism Course

 I receive guidance from  a working photographer and learn about the key elements of documentary photography and photojournalism. I had to do photo assignments, practical exercises and location shoots with technical and compositional skills, develop my photographic style. Each week I had to tackle an aspect of what it means, in practical terms, to work as a photographer . I encouraged to participate in weekly discussion and feedback on the development of my own and fellow students’ work.

I developed my practical skills, exploring techniques, equipment and materials as well as undertaking research into the work of photographers.
