About Eva Jeanne Markosky

Pennsylvania native Eva Jeanne Markosky attends Pennsylvania State University, where she studies environmental engineering and participates in on-campus events and organizations. Eva Jeanne Markosky previously helped out at the Penn State Dance Marathon (also known as the THON) and enjoys rooting for the Nittany Lions. She also avidly supports other Pennsylvania sports teams, among them the Pittsburgh Pirates and Pittsburgh Steelers.

Ms. Markosky devotes her free time to various community initiatives. She serves in the Reformed University Fellowship and the Covenant Presbyterian Church, and she has volunteered with buildOn’s Educate Today, Thrive Tomorrow youth afterschool program.

She supplements her engineering education with real-world experience. She previously completed two internships at The Markosky Engineering Group, Inc., in Ligonier, Pennsylvania. There, she worked with civil engineers, designers, and environmental scientists on various bridge, highway, and natural gas pipeline projects. As an intern, her duties included producing bridge inspection sketches and creating field and environmental reports.
