About Esther Burnham El Paso

Esther Burnham, formerly Esther Furrer, has focused for the past 12 years on grant development and budget leadership within the field of education in El Paso, Texas. She joined the El Paso Education Initiative, Inc. in 2002 and, during her tenure with this organization, secured multiple grants for curriculum and facilities development. She implemented critical funding, which included three Texas Science, Technology, Engineering and Math Academies Implementation (T-STEM) grants, with keen attention to budgetary and documentation compliance. She successfully served first as the finance administrator and subsequently as the organization's assistant superintendent of finance.
