I have worked in administration for 3 years and customer service environments for 10 years. As a customer service professional I believe follow through and open communication are the most important aspects of providing exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders. I have received several awards for my high level of customer service and I relish the challenge of an unsatisfied customer.

Retail Sales Support Clerk

In this role I was given the opportunity to expand on my data analysis abilities and was required on several occasions to provide reports to senior management using Microsoft Office software.

My greatest achievement was a report I created to show the age of inventory by product code at the different Gashouses and a tracking graph to monitor the decrease. This was created in order to decrease stock holding of obsolete products and was reported to senior management regularly until the close of the retail department.

My duties included supervision of children aged between 0 and 4 years, shopping and cooking nutritious meals, cleaning and occasionally picking up the older children from school. One of my achievements in this role was reducing the cost of the shopping by 10% through negotiation with key suppliers.


Checkout Operator and Deli Assistant

IGA| Spencer Park, Albany

 My duties included cash handling, cleaning, and providing excellent customer service. In both roles I was required to:

  • Supervise and train new employees
  • Prioritize and perform necessary tasks
  • Remain available for both departments at anytime

Copper Sampler

SPS Copper Sampling|  Port Hedland

 In this position I worked on a wharf site and safety was always the main concern of all employees. The samples that I had to obtain were through a conveyor used to load the ships and from a holding shed. The key aspects of this position were:

  •  12 hour shifts in extreme conditions
  • Communicating with team members and other departments 
  • Knowledge of and compliance with OHS and PPE regulations
  • Calculating sample amounts and weight costs
  • Liaising with buyers and senior management regarding production issues

This was my first occupation and in the 2 years I was employed there I learned how to provide a high level of customer service. Occasionally I would provide relief support in other departments or as management.
