  • Senior member of the executive staff leading the technical direction for AMS. 
  • Duties includes:
    • Evaluating payment processors to target and integrate our payment gateway and merchant services driving profitability and compliance.
    • Presenting and promoting products and services at conventions and trade shows.
    • Negotiating with vendors to reduce operating costs and maintain highly productive and available systems and services.
    • Working with business owners to promote sales and customer retention.
  • Increased profits over 100% by formulating the technical team responsible to deliver AMSonline, the comprehensive Martial Arts School Management System recognized as the leader in the Martial Arts community.  This full featured school management product includes AMSubill a self billing system, AMSattendance an attendance tracking system with the industries first reliable fingerprint bio-technology integration, and iPhone and iPad apps to extend AMSonline to the mobile community.
  • Enhanced companies revenue opportunities by designing and delivering numerous additional products such as AMSweb which includes a three tier web based sales offering, EventHub the martial arts industries on-line events management system, AMSubill the online martial arts school automated payment management system and AMSsecurepay the centralized on-line payment gateway.
  • Increased martial arts schools productivity by delivering the industries leading Attendance Taker application with the first reliable Fingerprint Reader integration. 
  • Spearheaded the Payment Card Industry PCI initiative to insure complete compliance with the PCI Data Security Standard as a Service Provider and a Merchant.
  • Significantly reduced credit card processing costs by delivering AMSePay and NCMePay on-line account payment applications. These applications integrate with First Data Merchant Services to process secure on-line credit card payments eliminating the need for in school payments as well as internal collections.

Christie Lites
  • Implemented a corporate Information Technology strategy reducing supports costs for six corporate offices in six separate cities spanning the US and Canada.
    • Reduced IT support costs by relocating and centralizing IT operations to Orlando headquarters from Toronto Canada and formed the IT team from the ground up responsible for all corporate offices.
    • Principle Architect creating single network domain for all the corporate offices using IP networks and VPN tunnels providing seamless communications for all systems improving business communication and eliminating communication delays.
    • Reduced the costs of data backup maintenance by implementing a centralized backup strategy for all offices.

Development Manager

  • Increased the Vodafone Global Platform Groups revenue by $1.5 million dollars by delivering the TXT ALERTS Information Alerts Platform (IAP) designed specifically for Verizon Wireless. Based on the standard product offering that provides wireless carriers a centrally hosted SMS messaging platform for information alerting for over a hundred content sources including such providers as ABC News, Forbes, Fox Sports, The Weather Channel, TV Guide and HBO.
    • Awarded special recognition for the first successful product delivery to Verizon Wireless under budget and exceeding expectations.
  • Delivered the public Internet portal platform for CONNEX, the largest wireless company in Romania. This global internet platform was the first portal delivered in a language other than English.
  • Centralized global communications by delivering the (vista) global intranet web portal for the Vodafone community. This portal was based on the Global Internet Platform designed and developed by the Vodafone Global Platform group which integrated SMS wireless messaging technology.  Managed global development teams in the United States, Europe and Italy. 

Director of Development/IT

OpenAuto / Arizona Bay
  • Delivered the Automotive Inventory Platform (AIP) product for numerous automotive dealerships throughout the country by providing costs analysis, capacity planning, and overseeing the product development, deployment, and hosted environments for the platform.
  • Provided the technical strategic direction, including business case analysis, the direction of technical development and deployment, for all new and existing product offerings for
  • Selected as Director of IT for Arizona Bay, a technical professional services company, the spin off company when Openauto closed. Assignments included Director of IT for Intelichoice, one of the most respected automotive information providers in the United States.

Manager of Tools Development

IMX Exchange
  • Reduced the cost of doing business by providing mission critical information from the IMX mortgate Exchange system to the senior executive staff.
  • Deployed the internally developed Customer Relations Management application for the Customer Support Group. This application was recognized as exceeding expectations by the Director of Support Services.
  • Promoted to Manager of Tools Development, the team recognized as performing above expectations and expanded responsibilities to include delivering customer-facing products including the Best Mortgage Rate system used by customers all over the world.

Senior Software Engineer

  • Responsible for all Internet products for QRS from systems architecture to product development. Developed web based Electronic Commerce and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) applications and web applications for both internal and external customers such as Sears, Dillard's and Owens Corning.
  • Promoted to Senior Software Engineer responsible for all Internet products.
  • Actively represented QRS Inc. in the global community by being a member of the VICS Internet Standards Committee developing technology recommendations for conducting business on the Internet for the retail industry.
