Ø  Face of busy, upscale North Shore salon

Ø  Client relations at all times; smiling, upbeat, friendly. Answer three phone lines, book appointments for 9 stylists, take payments, open and close register, managed payroll, never look stressed, with little to no room for error.

Ø  Create and manages the first blog of the salon; consistently updates with fresh written material, and adds to social media sites for marketing.

Case Study: I was the main reception for this busy, high end salon, and after my departure, they now require all reception staff to greet clients, relate with clients, and interact with clients "exactly as Erin did". So I have created a standard for all reception staff for that salon.

Profitability BUsiness Simulations

Ø Created engaging marketing copy to create brand awareness amongst B2B clients.

Ø Edited US marketing materials prior to mass distribution.

Ø Researched client prospects based on their company mission statements and/or their participation in T&D programs; gains key contact information for direct mail and e-marketing campaigns.

Ø Managed office finances and tracks all checks written, received and deposited.

Ø Prepared course materials for each simulation running in the US and sends one week prior to contact. This may include outsourcing printing, lamination, purchasing materials and/or special shipment arrangements.

 Case Study: I was hired to be the voice of the US for US ProfitAbility. My task was to write copy for a B2B direct mail campaign which I had never done before. My boss was astounded at my writing abilities and went on to use much of my writing as inspiration for an article he’s submitting this summer. Although the US isn’t doing their own marketing moving forward and I have to leave the company, I’m leaving with a heavy mark of impression on my boss with regards to my writing skills, and he is willing to recommend me to any future employer. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>

Case Study: I was hired to do two things: manage the operations department, and to repair a deteriorating relationship between the department and their biggest client (which was 80% of their business).

I'd love the opportunity to continue the career I've built in the promotions/marketing industry. However what I'm most passionate about is writing. Although I don't have much experience writing professionally, I'd love the opportunity to obtain a position where I can put my skills to the test and create compelling and persuasive copy for the brand.
