Special Education
Assess students to determine if they qualify for adapted physical education (APE); generate reports regarding student assessments; develop goals for students in physical activity; and collaborate with speech teachers, language pathologists, special education teachers, resource teachers, general education teachers, occupational therapists, physical therapists, vision teachers, mobility teachers, program specialists, administrators, and parents to develop individual education plans (IEPs).

Lesson Planning
Develop lesson plans that address each adapted physical education (APE) student's area of motor delay.
Teaching
Teach 35 to 40 hours a week at 13 different school sites students between the ages of 5 and 21 that qualify for adapted physical education (APE).
