I am an Economist focused mainly  in Macroeconomics, Public Policies, Pro-Poor Growth and Microsimulation of Public Policies. I hold two Master's Degrees in Economics and Applied Economics and a Diploma in European Research in Applied Economics. I have worked as a lecturer and as a researcher in Barcelona as well as an economic Consultant for the Government and Congress of Argentina and Mexico City. I grew up in many countries (Egypt, Spain, Zimbabwe, Argentina, Mexico, etc.) so I am strongly oriented towards international scenarios and cultures.

Melbourne Institute of Applied Economic and Social Research

Visitor researcher at the Melbourne Institute of Applied Economic and Social Research, Australia. Doctoral research at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. I am completing and calibrating a microsimulation model for tax and social benefits analysis and for the evaluation of public policies in Paraguay. In the framework of the theory of discrete choice modelling, the model allows analyzing the impact of taxes in terms of inequality, poverty and distributional indicators as well as their impact at the labor market scale through labor supply behavioral functions.
