Summary

Erika Jensen-Jarolim is today professor for Comparative Medicine of the Medical University Vienna and University of Veterinary Medicine Vienna at the interdisciplinary Messerli Research Institute. Before she served during 5 years as professor for pathophysiology and head of the Institute of Pathophysiology and Allergy Research of the Medical University Vienna. She holds an MD, and she is specialized in immunology an pathophysiology. Her research is dedicated to the evaluation of pathophysiological mechanisms to improve diagnosis and therapy in the allergy, oncology and allergooncology fields, for human and pet animal patients.
