As assistant general manager of Ruth’s Chris Steak House in Chicago, Illinois, Eric Scofield plays a key role in running one of the more than 100 Ruth’s Chris locations throughout the United States and other countries. He works together with the management team, chef, and staff to provide patrons with a memorable fine dining experience highlighted by the restaurant’s signature USDA Prime steaks served atop sizzling butter on ceramic plates heated to 500 degrees Fahrenheit. Capable of meeting the needs of a variety of occasions, Eric Scofield helps facilitate service for guests ranging from couples to business diners at a Chicago location that includes a comfortable bar along with multiple private dining rooms that offer features such as satellite broadcasting and panoramic views of the city.
Before joining Ruth’s Chris Steak House, Mr. Scofield received an associate of applied science in culinary arts and hospitality from Kendall College. He enjoys international travel and has visited destinations all across Europe, as well as areas of Asia. In his free time, he cultivates his garden, reads, and follows local sports teams, including the Cubs, Bears, and Blackhawks.
