Minnie Hopkins Memorial Scholarship Recipient

➢ The Minnie Hopkins Scholarship Fund was established in 1993 by Ironrock and Fishers Foods to encourage the children Minnie cared so much about to take advantage of the educational opportunities that lay ahead of them and is presented in honor of her commitment to them.


  • Collaborated with Stark County Mental Health & Addiction Recovery Board to administer a $200,000 grant which resulted in over 1,000 consumers receiving mental health services.
  • Transformed the organization's culture from a program centered model - to a client centered model that values their culture and heritage in treatment.
  • Collaborated with Stark County Department of Jobs & Family Services to administer $45,000 grant, which resulted in 20% enrollment increase.
  • Executed a new program that increased student attendance from 25 to 50 if the first 9 months and organized a community outreach event that served over 125 youth.
  • Implemented and coordinated Stark County's first Mental Health Teen Summit that served over 150 youth and parents with emotional health resources.
  • Increased wrestling participation by 25% each year (5 wrestlers to 25) and cultivated a genuine interest in Hartford Middle School Wrestling and improved annual revenue from $500.00 per year to $5,000.00.
