Handles all aspects of the users collectibles: inventory, location tracking, media & documentation storage, valuation, insurance, etc. Currently used by over 150 customers(from small personal collections to large nationwide institutions/corporations).
Roles: CTO, Product & UX, Lead Trainer, Sales Solutions Architect and Customer Happiness Rep
Technology: Fully designed and implemented the current platform(AWS, LAMP stack, multi-tier architecture, Twilio, Intercom, Stripe, Zencoder, GA, etc.).
Customer Satisfaction: Maintain a 100% customer satisfaction score by leveraging tools(ticketing, chat support, feedback, etc.) and a customer advocacy program.
Product/Project Management: Facilitate brainstorming sessions, align teams' product vision, create prototypes with an optimized user experience, write detailed requirements, lead the implementation through completion.
Management & Process Consulting: Improve the performance of Technology departments by analyzing their existing organizational challenges, developing plans for improvement(people, process and technology) and project managing the implementation.
PMO Setup: Setup of Project Management Offices by assisting with the recruiting of PMs, training on various concepts and methodologies(SCRUM-agile methodology, PMP, etc.) and implementing the tools and processes to support the selected methodology.
Management: Direct management of Project Managers, Product Coordinators and User Experience Architects(hiring, objectives, bi-annual performance reviews, layoffs, etc.). Dotted line supervision of an engineering team.
P&L: Project Sponsor for all Global Initiatives(implementation projects across all 20 retail websites managed by the Online Technology Department). Fully responsible for an annual budget of $3.5M in.
Vendor Management: In charge of all 3 party vendor engagements(e.g. search, analytics, imaging, reviews, etc.). RFP/RFI selection process(technical and business), comparative analysis and contract negotiation, vendor ongoing relationships, integration consulting, support and training.
Product Management & User Experience: Helped business units define and formalize requirements for the online technology department. Set usability best practices standards for all sites.
R&D: Introduced new initiatives based on market trends, built proof of concepts, and identified potential for commonality between all 20 sites managed on the ecommerce platform.
C-level relationship: Communicated high-level status information to C-level executives through monthly presentations. Often asked to share an opinion on strategic priorities.
Projects: Led the migration of the entire ecommerce platform to a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) including all aspects of Governance Implemented the platform's CMS content management), search and navigation, web 2.0 features, social navigation, personalization & segmentation, SEO best practices, A/B testing & multivariate testing toolsets Emphasized the importance of mobile and launched the company's first iPhone & iPad web and native applications.
