Boston, MA Operations Assistant; Write and edit communications to students, alumni, and faculty of the Department of Graduate Studies (formerly Graduate and Professional Programs), including: quarterly newsletters, event invitations, department announcements and other communications both internal and external. Maintain the department website, make text changes to site pages using content management system, and make recommendations for website re-design to the Office of Marketing and Communications. Drive the development and successful implementation of all Graduate Studies events, with attendance of up to 450 people of various constituencies. Directly supervise five student part-time employees and one temporary operations staff member. Coordinator and primary contact for Graduate Studies satellite campuses in Woburn and Quincy, including direct oversight of scheduling, payroll, and training for three site administrators. Collaborator within cross-functional teams to achieve departmental goals, including Chair of the Graduate Studies Commencement Committee. With the Director of Operations and Systems, manage the implementation, training and usage of Ellucian Recruiter CRM tool within the department. Input and manage data entry in the prospective student database, and process all application materials within the digital document management system. Process and track all accounts payable, credit card expenditures, incoming invoices and purchase orders.
