Professional observation is paramount for this demanding and delicate role. Constantly dealing with highly sensitive data is expected, so adapting a firm attitude with yourself is needed. A good understanding of clear communication for multiple radio and telephone use is an advantage and making the right decisions under pressure to prioritise each persons requirements can be challenging but overall rewarding. Achievements are building a good rapport with the clients of Police Service Of Scotland, Highland Council and occasionally the general public too and some technical skills gained but best of all is seeing the results of the success stories that you and your team have participated in to gather evidence to keep people safe based in this Police Area Command Centre in Inverness.
