After acquiring internship experience at Fleishman-Hillard and GMR Marketing in Chicago, and the CVB of Greater Cleveland, Landau PR was my first full-time PR position. Here I focused heavily on media relations and developing relationships with reporters on behalf of clients such as On Call International, Tyco Flow Control, Emerson Ceiling Fans and The Gathering Place. I was responsible for compiling clip reports for all my accounts and also spent a significant amount of time drafting press releases and matte articles.

Additionally, I provided local media and event support for the Anisfield-Wolf Book Awards and Vatican Splendors, a unique global exhibit that stopped at Cleveland's historical society.

While at SBC I directed all account activity for the consumer/retail team and managed day-to-day client relations for national brands such as Elmer's, Krazy Glue, X-ACTO, Thirty-One Gifts and Bruegger's Bagels. I drove media relations campaigns and also pitched national outlets to secure consistent coverage for client campaigns. In addition, I drafted compelling corporate, marketing and editorial communications with heavy focus on SEO and end-user engagement.

I helped to successfully expanded social channels for our clients and solidified their relationships with consumers on a unique and more personal level. Monthly reporting and weekly status meetings led by me were executed in order to track progress and share successes that could be leveraged among sales associates and retailers.

While at Formula PR, I worked in the Consumer Products & Services division on national client accounts including Kashi, Sun-Maid, ConocoPhillips Lubricants, CalNaturale, Art.com and the American Council on Exercise.  I helped develop communication strategies for initiatives such as product launches, seasonal campaigns and media events, and was responsible for drafting and editing client communications (from internal newsletters to press materials, bylines and more).

I oversaw the media relations activities for all accounts and motivated junior colleagues to secure top-tier coverage on a consistent basis. Further to reporting, in detail, all client activity and coverage on a monthly basis, I managed social media platforms for account, developing/reviewing posts and page updates on a weekly basis.

I worked in the San Diego office for a year and a half, then worked remotely for a year after moving to Columbus.

During my time at The McRae Agency, I managed the company's largest client account, Solatube International, Inc.--developer of the leading TDD (tubular daylighting device). I developed, presented and executed PR ideas to help generate buzz for the company, and provided onsite trade show support. In addition, I created and implemented an elaborate social media campaign for Solatube, including guideline development, training and management of social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn. Through my pitching efforts, I secured media coverage for the client within various top-tier outlets such as CBS’s The Early Show, HGTV, Planet Green, Metal Architecture and Residential Design & Build. 

In conjunction with my PR activities, I managed the agency's intern program--interviewing and hiring new students, training them and providing guidance and constructive criticism on work in order to help develop budding PR careers.

Beginning my second year at UD, I worked in the University's Office of Public Relations where I was responsible for monitoring news and securing/filing press coverage, in addition to reviewing internal communications for grammatical accuracy and AP style.
