I am passionate about Make-up and Fashion, currently in my second year of University studying for a BA Honors in Specialist Hair and Media Make-up. I am highly creative, committed and hard working, with excellent interpersonal skills. I have taken part and competed in Association of Hairdressers & Therapists Competitions, acquiring skills such as working independently and as a team to achieve goals and deadlines set. Also gaining experience and improving confidence through voluntary theatre work. I am always eager to enhance and develop my practical skills in new ways.

Front of House/Waitress

Ramada Plaza

I was part of the morning team and would sign the customers into the restaurant, greeting customers with a warm welcome and friendly smile. Duties included setting up the continental buffet and hot buffet for large groups on tours and residents of the hotel. It was a fast paced environment due to serving high volumes of people. Receiving room service orders, delivering them to their rooms and taking cash and card payments. Which I would them process on an electronic till as well as taking payments for food at lunch. I was also responsible for cleaning, tidying and maintaining the restaurant for the night staff. These cleaning roles were to be carried out to set standards and guidelines as we were working with food having to meet health and safety regulations.

I was responsible for opening up and closing The Moors Inn. Serving customers food and drinks. I was also responsible for making sure all customers were happy with their meals making sure the toilets were clean as well as the rest of the pub. I love working with people and getting to know regular customers. I have had plenty of till experience and thoroughly enjoy this line of work.

Learning Assistant

National Trust Erddig Hall

I was responsible for ensuring school children have an enjoyable and organised visit to the property and leave happy whilst having learnt about the History and lives of the Victorians. I would split the school into groups and each group would learn about the different roles servants would have in the Victorian era. These were practical activities, which included: making dough and butter in the Bakery, washing in Laundry and making lemonade in the Kitchen. In these activities we would give the children information about the work and the servants lives. I loved being able to give the children encouragement and giving them new insights into how life was. It was a very fast paced environment which I enjoyed thoroughly. I was also responsible for taking payments and membership.
