I recently graduated with my MS in Nutrition and Wellness and I am currently pursuing a Dietetic Internship for eligibility to sit for the RD exam. I recently passed the Registration for Dietetic Technicians exam and I am looking for clinical experience. I am an active member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. I am a Certified Food Service Sanitation Manager and have my Illinois Sanitation License. I work as needed as a Dietary Lead (Supervisor) at Swedish American Hospital where I work primarily as Diet Clerk. I volunteer at Rockford First as a small group leader, where we meet bi-weekly. I volunteered for a short time at Better Life Wellness associated with Swedish American Hospital.

Assist with processing telephone/computer communications for all meals. Correct and put in any selective menus for the next day as available and place in kardex. Put in non-selective menus for patients who have not selected or whose diet has been advanced. Print patient labels. Keep record of late trays and other items sent to floors. Tally special breakfast requests for the cooks for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Complete cleaning duties. Train new employees in diet clerk position, as needed.
