Selected Achievements

Led and developed Peer Tutoring hybrid curriculum in collaboration with the Community Links teacher to interface with the Learning Commons which uses the library space to interface information with learning communities

Developed and implemented Planning 10 hybrid classes that worked to support student familiarity with online learning platforms as well as hybrid learning practices

Led and developed a Career Fair in collaboration with Work Experience Teachers, sponsored by Planning 10 students, bringing trade professionals into the school providing information sessions and real life perspectives about their work life.

Volunteer co-ordination of the 100 Year John Oliver Anniversary Event.

Duties include: Working with teachers in developing hybrid curriculum for Peer Tutoring 12 and Planning 10, Developing Student Leadership capacity through the Presidents’ Club, Student Council and Grad Committee, Tech Committee, Information Technology, Student Council, Timetabling and Supervision,  School Leaving Ceremonies, Health and Safety, Assemblies, Student Teachers and Learning Resources.

Innukshuk Grant Proposal Coordinator – In connection with Main Street Adult Education Centre, Vancouver Learning Network, UBC – Language and Literacy and University of Georgia – Language and Literacy. Implementing an online environment in support of hybrid and online problems based curriculum that will be offered free for anyone to use.It would allow teachers to then add their lesson plans and curriculum for others to share.

Duties include: Working with teachers in developing connections with hybrid teaching strategies in order to improve student engagement. Teacher Evaluations, Tech Committee, Information Technology, Mini School Coordinator, School Leaving Ceremonies, Health and Safety, Assemblies, Student Teachers and Learning Resources.
