Executing testing projects and assisting in general product qualifications. Assisting in the system level testing, and helping recreate and track down failure analysis issues.
A member of Tech Support team at Luidia, a company creating interactive technology for capturing and sharing ideas for corporate and educational markets. I run QA testing on upcoming products, cross platform support for all our software, and manage the daily flow of the customer support ticketing service.
Supported PR and Social Media programs within a rapidly growing base of world-class consumer and technology clients, including eBay's social media team.
Taught students ages 5-12 as a “Mad Scientist,” sharing with them the fundamentals of science through engaging games, experiments, and discussions.
Successfully created, organized and managed the first Chico State fundraising walk for multiple sclerosis. Led a 10-person staff in coordinating more than 400 volunteers and walkers for the event. Additional responsibilities included recruiting sponsors, entertainment and vendors, and designing all the promotional materials.
Served as the lead account executive for production of Chico State's annual diversity newsletter, Building Bridges, contributed to devising a strategic plan for the Chico State Recreational Sport Club Department to increase team sponsorships through philanthropy, and facilitated weekly client meetings for productive account planning.
Founding member and first PR chair for the Chico State chapter of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity. Oversaw all campus and community relations, assisted in creation of marketing materials, and effectively promoted the organization’s name and image.
Conducted interviews and composed more than 30 articles for the features and entertainment sections of The Orion, Chico State’s award-winning student-run newspaper in circulation of 7,000 copies weekly. Gave me the chance to experience both the news editorial and public relations side of journalism, which gives me a well balanced knowledge of the industry.
