As operations administrator and theater manager for Writers Guild of America, West, Emal Nessary builds on more than 14 years of theater management experience. He served on the first management team of The Bridge Cinema De Lux, a three-story multi-screen facility, where he led a team of more than 150 employees. Dedicated to serving a high-end clientele at The Bridge, Emal Nessary worked to ensure overall client satisfaction while leading daily operations, personnel development, and special events.
In 2005, Emal Nessary left The Bridge Cinema de Lux to accept his current position. Since that time, he has led all of the theater's operating processes while overseeing facility development and maintenance. Also the co-chair of the facility's safety committee, he leads committee meetings and monitors all electrical and mechanical systems. Mr. Nessary is similarly responsible for the theater's financial success and, to that end, nurtures existing client relationships while creating marketing strategies to increase ticket and rental revenue. He comes to this role with a bachelor of science in business administration from DeVry University at Long Beach.
