Responsible for planning and oversight of global strategic user research and user experience design initiatives for digital interfaces used to manage data center IT  assets and power and thermal industrial equipment. Managed a team of researchers and designers - empowering them to deliver cutting-edge global user interface solutions that raised the bar for what the experience of interacting with industrial equipment interfaces can be.

Helped to institutionalize Human-Centered Design as the global approach to interface design.  2013 Nominee - Emerson 'Consider It Solved' Award.

Human Factors Engineer (UX - Software)

INTEL CORP. (Hillsboro, OR)

Worked as a User Experience Product Owner (UXPO) among a team of Human Factors Engineers (HFE). Tasked with using user-centered design and research methods to design a custom software user interface for a SAP Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solution used by Intel's Global Sales Force to maximize sales opportunities and generate revenue. 

Planned and led design kick-off meetings with stakeholders. Designed UX artifacts: personas, context scenarios, storyboards, icons, symbols, wireframes , and prototypes using Adobe Creative Suite and a number of other prototyping tools. 

Key Accomplishments:

•Selected to be one of seven (7) Intel IT employees to represent the organization by contributing thought leadership at the 2012 Imagination Boot Camp where we used IDEO-based Design Thinking techniques to brainstorm solutions for some of the organizations biggest challenges.

Provided front-end design and systems analysis support for a greenfield development effort to build a web-based financial management app to be used by Nike's Costing Organization for financial forecasting, reporting and optimizing profit margins (predictive trending and scenario planning). Product was projected to result in an estimated $1.2 billion in shareholder value within 3 years of implementation. Designed wireframes, wrote requirements, and championed and modeled Agile best practices.
