About Me

Eloah Rocha, a counseling and research professional located in Los Angeles, currently works with patients and their families at Los Angeles Children's Hospital. Her primary responsibilities include monitoring the facility's youth activity center for children visiting ill and injured siblings. Among other management activities, Eloah Rocha prepares daily event schedules for children in the activity center and directs all staff members responsible for child supervision.

During her time at the hospital, Rocha has contributed to several research studies on family group therapy for patients. She has additionally helped facilitate research focused on patients' interactions with their siblings, as well as research on children of various ages as they cope with a sibling's hospitalization.

Prior to attaining her current position at Los Angeles Children's Hospital in 2004, Eloah Rocha pursued a bachelor of science in child psychology at Boulder University in Colorado. She supplemented her university studies with volunteer work at a local hospital, along with other extracurricular opportunities. After graduating in 2003, Rocha continued her involvement in the nonprofit sector by helping to raise awareness for breast cancer causes and organizing fundraising events for children with disabilities.
