I've spent the last three years converting enterprise client businesses into product and data driven businesses. I act as consultant and change intermediary to the c-suite and director to teams I bring together on every project.

VVELD engineers business applications to increase operational efficiencies.

At VVELD I lead Customer strategy,  UX design, & product development. I also help our customers embrace the transition to DevOps and Product Lifecycle Management.

We've contributed to the evolution of these sectors:

WorkRetail Analytics Platform

Client: Telus

Platform generates crowd-sourced, customer and retail location/s scores. 

Use cases:

  • Multi-store operators overlay and review foot traffic data for all locations
  • Retailers can understand and predict annual foot traffic trends and build programs 
  • Retailers can buy OOH media based on foot traffic data. Data derived includes: Ethnicity, Demographic, Socio-Economic, and frequency of visits to a given location
  • Use predictive data for retail store staffing models 
  • Match Social Media analytics with foot traffic data.

I took time away from the grind to be with my newborn daughter. One of the best decisions I could have made. In so many ways. 

I was able to focus on what was important during that time. Which lead to my interest in creating my own company.  So I worked on my business roadmap and planning while she was asleep.

VP Client Partner 

Worked with a Healthcare client on the production of a web app. The product provided analytics to cancer treatment patients suffering from treatment related fatigue. Patients would often return to hospital with untreatable, non-symptoms, filling up waiting rooms and wasting clinician time.  

Offsetting fatigue requires disciplined lifestyle changes and habits. The application provided feedback (much like apple health) that users relied on to better understand how their habits were affecting their progress or their continued progression of fatigue.  

This project required me to interview various stakeholders (top to bottom) within the hospital, develop personas and user stories, and run design sprints with UX and UI teams.

I also mentored start up founders while at BNOTIONS. We had a venture fund and incubated several companies. These founders were running consumer focused apps and needed advice on getting features to market quickly and hacking their apps growth.

Digital Strategy Manager 

At SCC I ran cross functional teams on the development of an Investor Relations platform. The platform managed hundreds of client sites and related web analytics. I also designed client website prototypes and IA with Axure. 

I reviewed all client site and platform data while at SCC. And recommended strategies for clients, based on their web traffic behaviours and interests.

Also I managed the performance marketing for the SCC business. Handling all inbound leads, testing new content and creative to garner more leads from new markets and building pitches for new clients based on data.

Product Marketing Manager

At Rypl I managed a portfolio of 10,000 + affiliates and their inbound web traffic for conversion. I had about 200 + websites that I managed performance of through a proprietary analytics dashboard. This was before data was cool and clouds were just clouds. 

I ran multivariate tests on landing pages, digital assets, sites and banner creative to get the best performance and incrementally increase web traffic conversions and revenue. 

We bought and sold media and I brokered all of my deals. And partnered with payment processors and in-house counsel on digital marketing strategy and program development.

Released a product for the commercial real estate industry that manages the real time digital relationships of 40,000 Residents and 200 concurrent Administrative users. 

Sold the platform to a Vancouver based buyer. 


Facebook Open Graph Hackathon

Worked with the team at Facebook Canada, & in partnership with Free the Children, to build apps on the open graph. These apps we completed & shipped in 12 hours and wound up being used by Free the Children to grow participation in their We Day events.

Red Bull Canada Partnership

Developed partnership with Red Bull Canada to sponsor Hackathons with beverages. We did many events together as well.
