English and Life Orientation educator at Edgemead High School. 5 Month contract whereby I replaced a teacher on maternity leave.
I worked part-time for three years as a tutor for the English Department at Stellenbosch University. I taught first year students short stories, poems, plays and novels.
2009 - ISU Travel Scholarship (Marburg University, Germany) and Scholarship from Stellenbosch University to attend the International Summer University in Marburg.Obtained 3 distinctions for the three the modules taken during this program.
2009 - Elected as President of Golden Key (Stellenbosch University). Received a travel bursary to attend the International Golden Key Conference in Orlando, Florida.
2009 - Selected as on of South Africa's Brightest Young Minds and received a scholarship to attend the BYM conference in Stellenbosch.
2008 - Invited to join Golden Key International Honour Society for academic excellence.
2008 - Received Golden Key Chapter Award to scholastic attainments and outstanding academic merit.
