  • PhD Thesis: Structural and Magnetic Properties of Exchange Biased CoO/Co Multilayers; Ongoing, Gebze Institute of Technology-Yeditepe University Physics Dept.: Experimental investigations of the dependence of exchange bias on the magnetic and structural properties of [CoO(Antiferromagnetic)/Co(Ferromagnetic)]n nano-thin-film multilayer systems, mathematical modelling and simulations of ferromagnetic resonance (FMR) measurements of the magnetic properties including anisotropies in multilayer structures.
  • M.Sc. Thesis: Interferometric Methods in Determination of Refractive Index of Glass Doped with Semiconducting Nanocrystals; 2006, Yıldız Technical University Physics Department: Experimental determination of the refractive indices of parallel plate transparent glasses using Michelson Interferometry and a developed transcendental model. This method is then used to measure the refractive indices of filter glasses doped with CdSe or CdTe semiconductor quantum dots to investigate the effect of average nanocrystal radius (measured by absorption spectroscopy) on the refractive index.
  • B.Sc. Thesis: Relativistic Matter-Energy Tensor & Its Limits Leading To 2D Magneto-Hydrodynamics Equations; 2002, Yeditepe University Physics Department: Starting from the basic relativity concepts and introducing the relativistic matter-energy tensor, the magneto-hydrodynamics (MHD) equations are obtained without any prior assumptions. Following on this determination, MHD equations are reduced to the classical limits and a numerical method is presented for non-linear solutions of MHD equations.
