2.Open was the centerpiece of the AOL initiative to transform and adopt Web 2.0 practices.
As Chief Editor and blogger for the 2.Open blog site I drove culture change to recognize new customer-oriented dynamics. Published daily educational and thought-provoking articles to all AOL employees. Role was expanded to include blogging for external AOL Developer Network community site.

Chairs, moderates and facilitates events to harness participant innovation.Leveraged Web 2.0 technologies and Social Media to establish local organizing groups to createHealthCamp events. At HealthCamp discussions reflect the interests and challenges of the local community but also extend to emerging issues and opportunities such as integrating Personal Health Records with emerging health and wellness oriented applications, web 2.0 and mHealth technologies.As a result of my leadership of HealthCamp I have been asked to present and participate in panel sessions at conferences on the subject of Social Media and Web 2.0 technologies as tools for patient and consumer engagement. Retained as IT Infrastructure expert for company’s Chapter 11 re-organization and sale of the Iridium global satellite system.
