  • Use computerized reservation and ticketing systems to book transportation and hotel reservations, and issue itineraries.
  • Print or request transportation carrier tickets or ticketless itineraries with computer system or system link to travel carrier.
  • Collect deposits and payment for transportation and accommodations from clients.
  • Confirm all reservations prior to travel.
  • Customize individual travel packages to accommodate special needs.
  • Design, arrange, and sell tours and group packages.
  • Sell preferred supplier products.
  • Visit travel areas and accommodations to judge their quality, or spend time as tour guide to become familiar with well-traveled areas.
  • Serve as general resource for client, and research client problems and resolve issues.
  • Attend training as directed by the branch manager.
  • Recommend, cross sell or promote other Interstate products and services.
