Adjunct Professor – Counseling Psychology and Undergraduate Programs
Teach and assist in the direction of graduate students in the counseling programs for approximately 600 adult students (over the past 10 years). Responsible for assisting in the student recruitment, faculty orientation, and student advisement.
Held role as Adjunct Professor to adult graduate students through on ground and offsite classrooms, e campus web-based Blackboard, and video-conferencing mediums.
Taught for Troy University for the past 13 years (off and on) as an Adjunct Professor in the Graduate level Psychology program. Assisted in the development of the new Psychology program which aids the students to participate in the state licensure program (LPC). Certified in most courses which are offered in the Graduate program.
Academic Campus Dean – Responsibilities include recruiting and managing adjunct and full time faculties, teaching business/general education courses to associates, bachelors, and masters students; advising, mentoring, and support of students and other faculty; teaching courses as needed to support the growth and development of the business program; advisement and registration of new and current students; team work and support of student services and the site student related activities. Successfully completed numerous audits regulatory and accreditation levels both at the state and national level.
Under our leadership during the first year as Academic Dean, the on ground classroom progam grew in Augusta, GA by 17.5 per cent annually.
Full Professor – Graduate and Undergraduate Programs
Taught in both the graduate and undergraduate counseling programs for approximately 600 adult students. Responsible for assisting in the scheduling curriculum, student recruitment, certification, faculty management, and student advisement.
Managed and delivered the educational and academic support programs at the campus level. Organized, supervised, and directed a professional staff to insure curricula was current and consistently delivered in an environment and manner conducive to learning in accordance with company objectives. Assured students were provided support services to maintain the highest level of student achievement and retention without compromising the integrity of the educational process. Planned and coordinated the department's activities with those of other departments to ensure success in all aspects of University operations. Average student ratings for classes taught were approximately 3.8/4.0.
